This was my last night in Hong Kong was sad to leave but had to leave in the morning. So I took a taxi to the port and tried to get a photo of the Hong Kong skyline it was about 11 o’clock by myself with expensive equipment in the dark foreign place. I know I was taking a chance by going there by myself but I really wanted to get a shot of the skyline. Once I got there it was quite windy plus I did not have a tripod. I wish I would’ve purchased a tripod before I went on my trip but it did not come in the mail till I got back. Anyways all of the shots or long exposures for 30 seconds. The first two shots are of this skyline in Hong Kong the first one was shot with a fisheye and the second was shot with a 24-70. Since I didn’t have a tripod what I have to do was be my own tripod so I went and look for anything even to put my camera on. It was really hard to do so some of the photos did not come out well out of all the photos I took that night these are the best results. For someone to take a longer exposure shot it’s best to use a tripod but since I was on my trip I know I didn’t want to carry around a tripod in first place. After I took the photos I walked for a while and then got a taxi back to the hotel once I got in a taxi that taxi driver was surprise not from me just being black but me being out there by myself and not in a dangerous area. I told him that I was a soldier not just kidding but I did enjoy my time in Hong Kong and I can’t wait to go back.
