GRIZZLY PEAK

Took a trip to grizzly Peak. The trip was planned for a jog up to grizzly Peak but After going around Whinding roads I did not see or find a trail on Google so I ended up just snapping a couple pictures Before the sunset and after the sunset. This was my first time at grizzly Peak it was pretty nice but not what I expected. After that headed to Sparkys to get something to eat. Sparkys is a restaurant off Redwood Road Close to my high school that a lot of people would get burgers. Their food is pretty good I have to say but kind of expensive for burgers and fries but they do give you plenty of fries. After that got dessert at C.R.E.A.M.

Later that week I’ve made lemon pepper chicken with basil green onions on top & Hawaiian style potato wedges. I’ve been trying to cook more often and save money. The next couple days after I take a trip to San Francisco to a restaurant Called Brenda’s It’s a soulfood restaurant. I have to say this is one of the best breakfast I’ve had so far.

Betagan scrambled eggs gruyere & Tomato bacon relish on toasted French roll with hash brown

It was delicious!

SF marshall beach hike

Woke up this morning trying to decide where I was going to go run. At first we planned on going to hike in Marin but decided that would take too long then could not find a place so we were going to settle for mission peak. I was alright with that but then decided that everybody goes there and wanted to do something different. So we went to Marshall beach In San Francisco. I am glad I chose this place because it was nicer than the others. I didn’t plan on bringing my camera at first but decided to just in case I seen something nice And I’m glad I did because I got some nice photos. When we got there the weather was great clear skies and sunny! We ran down the sand stairs to the beach then partly ran on the beach good work out for the most part. We ended up climbing some rocks and going over to the beach closest to the Golden gate Bridge. Not wanting to climb the rocks again Moung decided we should just Climb a mountain. This was not a good decision for the simple fact it was a mountain not a trail. After zigzagging up this mountain taking about 15 minutes finally made it to the top And having my life in danger we started to jog again. Overall this Jog/hiking experience was nice But I will never climb another mountain again Unless it’s to take a great photo at the top of that mountain then maybe.

Finally got to meet Rolo. After knowing about him for years and remembering waiting in line for sales such as the hundreds, him being always first and Dunk X change we finally met. Was supposed to meet him for the San Francisco giants parade but once I got to San Francisco there was no signal and we didn’t meet even though we were pretty much 100 feet away from each other but there was millions of people. I have to say he is one of the reasons Why I started taking photography more seriously. Anyways drove to next house and then we descended to the Berkeley Marina. We met up with Rolo and his girlfriend Mindy. I regret not bringing gloves because my hands were freezing. I forgot to bring my shutter release for a longer exposure shots so I did not get to take the photos I would have liked to I only had 30 sec exposures but I was trying to go for a minute to three minute exposures. Also left my tripod head at home so I had to Use nicks. I got some decent shots and got to meet some cool people Hope to shoot with them soon again.

Later that week Decided to get brunch and went to Lakeshore Café with Mary. This restaurant has some of the best breakfast/brunch in the bay area in my opinion. If you haven’t tried it yet you should. Later that week I decided to make my own brunch since it would save me money in the long run and I am trying to get into cooking more often like I used to. So I made a Belgian waffle with strawberries wipped cream and chocolate in my opinion it was better then Lakeshore Café. The next night I had leftover waffles so I used it For dessert and put French vanilla ice cream powder check sugar, whipped cream And chocolate on top. Also won the raffle for the Jordan 13 black cats i won 2 pairs but decided to only purchase one since I don’t care for the shoes that much and rather somebody get them that really wants them.

Decided to take a trip over to treasure Island to get a photo of the bay bridge and the San Francisco skyline. Once we got there I Got kind of lost since it was my first time going and I did not get directions. In the middle of getting lost I went on the wrong street and ended up on the Oakland side of the Bay Bridge. After I got there, the channel 5 news came and they were recording for something I didn’t ask. After figuring out where to go to take the photo of the San Francisco skyline I parked and walked to the gate. The sun was directly in front of my lens so most of the photos that I took had light flair But I Tilted the lens at a certain angle so the sun will not reflect directly off the glass. I am pretty satisfied with the images that I got at treasure Island. After that me and Mary went over to plow to get some brunch. I have seen a lot of good reviews on this restaurant and wanted to try it. We got there it was pretty busy so that was a good sign on a weekday. I ordered

THE PLOW: two eggs, chicken apple sausage, almond flour pancakes crispy potatoes + maple syrup.

They only have two kinds of pancakes one is lemon and the other one is almond i ordered almond and it was a good choice because the lemon one I am not fond of. But I recommend this restaurant to anybody that enjoys brunch like me.

Christmas

This was the first Christmas not being at my grandmas house kind of weird but nice I miss my grandma very much and it’s weird not going to her house for holidays or speaking to her/visiting her. But anyways we finally got to my aunties house got to see all my family have a good time and eat. We also play Bingo which I had no luck and lost.

birthday week

The week started off pretty good and in the middle of it i found my Kobe championship figurine. Later that week Mary took me out to dinner for a early birthday present. We ended up going to BJ’s brewhouse Ordered Santa Fe Spring rolls for an appetizer. Strawberry Mojito to drink . And I ordered a jambalaya. For dessert we got pizookie trio It was my first time having it and it was pretty good. Thanks Mary for taking me out for my birthday. The next day my mom took me out to one of my favorite seafood restaurants I ordered Lobster bisque and the captains platter. Later that night she made a cake for me love you mom.

las vegas part 2

Woke up around noon after having a long night got dressed and headed out. Went to Chinatown dance and stopped at this restaurant to get something to eat. The name of the restaurant is krung Siam And I have to say the spicy chicken wings were really good I also had rice on the side. After we left there we were close to some streetwear shops that I know about so we stop by to see if they had anything good. After that headed back to the casinos to gamble And to adventure around.

I decided to stay one day longer since I was having a lot of fun and I was drunk the previous night and knew I would not be able to make it to my flight on time ahah. We headed out to get a bite to eat before some of us headed back to Oakland. Nick book The Caesars Palace Hotel ones we got to the room the view was great. After taking a quick nap we left and went on the strip to take some photos and adventure around then want to the Bellagio to watch the water show. After that grab some food and I had to catch a flight in a hour or so, so i took a quick nap and off to the airport I spent almost 5 hours at the airport and was not a happy camper but glad to finally get on the airplane. Overall one of the best chips I’ve had in awhile.

las vegas part 1 of 2

Woke up this morning met up with Nick and purchase a incase bag from him since I need one for my D800. Later that day booked a flight to Las Vegas and In up going Wasn’t positive ongoing until the last minute. But glad I could make it for my good friend/family David! Flight was pretty good since I got a great seat after getting to Vegas waiting at the airport for a while then Daniel pick me up. First night we just chill for the most part and ate. The next day we went out and gamble for a wow and later that night went to club LAX Which is at The Luxor Hotel (Pyramid) The club was pretty fun even know we got Bottle service and it was secluded from most of the club After that we went to grab something to eat I don’t remember much after I was drunk And not really positive on how I took clear images aha.

Started my day off with some macro shots then went to Berkeley to meet up with Manisha To do her photo shoot. After that went over to looking glass to test out the 14-24 2.8 my homey Nick had it and I really liked it since I sold my fisheye I’ve been looking into purchasing a ultra wide angle lens. I like the lens but the price is kind of steep for me right now so I will just purchase it later down the road. I have also been getting into what did you wear today outfits more Often since Instagram inspired me. I used to post them on sole collector from 2008 to 2010 but then got tired of taking photos. But once I got a Instagram I started up again.

san francisco giants parade

Woke up early to get on Bart and meet up with some friends but once I got there it was millions of people and no signal for telephone so I didn’t really meet up with anyone and for the most part was by myself but I did see friends. I didn’t go to the giants parade the previous win but this one was my first baseball parade. It was huge and more Giants fans then I have ever seen.
