Went out to eat for my uncle’s birthday at La piñata We started off with margaritas and they were pretty strong this was my second time going to the restaurant and didn’t really know what to order. But I end up getting slightly drunk and eating fish tacos which were pretty good.

Decided to hit Fleet week with Jordan’s his son and brother. When we got there it took about 20-30 minutes to find parking and I was ready to jump out of the car and run down to take photos since I was using a 500mm 2.8 lens and It weighed a lot probably about 25 pound Including my mono pod and the camera. Finally we found parking about a mile away from the event so we got out and walked down To the pier to see the show . If you never been to fleet week I suggest you to go it happens once a year and it’s pretty cool. I’ve been to Fleet week basically my whole life since they used to be involved with united airlines and my dad work for them. There used to be parties at United airlines in Oakland ones the blue Angels came but I don’t think they do that anymore. Anyways after making it to the show I got some decent photos of the airplanes but that canon I was using is pretty slow for action So it was pretty much hit or miss and it was really irritating using a Canon 5D mark ii for fast-moving airplanes.
Been using the Canon 5D Mark two for a couple days/Haven’t been trying to use the Nikon D800 as much since it’s very expensive and I want to preserve the shutter count and only use it for important things. Anyways I’ve decided to take some nature photos since I haven’t in a while the first photo is of a spider that only comes once a year in Oakland area but it’s a red spider and it looks weird it was eating a Bee. Other interesting photo was I was walking to take the garbage out And almost stepped and killed this praying mantis it was the first Time I have seen a praying mantis in Oakland so Iran inside to get my camera and ran back out and he was still in the same place after taking a couple photos he start running towards my camera so I started to videotape him. Praying mantis are vicious little Insects.

If you have been watching the news and listening to the radio you would know today around 9:30 am The space shuttle Endeavour Was going to make a appearance in the bay area. Flying over landmarks such as the Golden gate Bridge San Francisco skyline/ Trans American Pyamid and And also in the East Bay. This would be the last time that the Endeavour would be in the sky Before Being put in a museum in LA
fact: The spaceship was built as a replacement for the shuttle Challenger, which was destroyed in the January 1986 accident that killed all seven astronauts on board. Endeavour is the youngest member of NASA’s now-retired space shuttle fleet.
The homie Michael and Nick came to pick me up and we went to San Jose so I could get my new camera (Nikon D800) The min I got this camera I loved it the picture quality is so much better than any other camera I have ever had. And I have the ability to shoot in low light now and get clear images. I took a photo of my local basketball court which was a long exposure shot Handhill. Later that we went to Walnut Creek to this popcorn restaurant and took some more photos. The only thing I don’t like about this camera is it takes up so much memory on my computer that I have to buy a external hard drive just for images/videos.
