Went to fleet week last week if you don’t know what fleet week is you most not stay in the bay area or have been under a rock sleep. This was the 30+ years since they have had it. I could remember being in school back when i went to school in san francisco going to the top of Roosevelt middle school and watching them practice. John let me use his 600mm f8 i was happy to use it but it was way to big and was not that sharp when it came to the bokeh the blue angles never really slowed down for anyone to take photos so i need fasted glass (lens) but i dont have a 70-200 2.8 so i did the best i could enjoy the photos will have a part 2 soon.

These are some photo’s that i don’t like as much or over passed the first time when i was looking over the photos i took in new york city. I don’t like them to much but you might. The first 4 images are the bokeh pic.Two of them are from soho and the rest are from ground zero and times square. I have been busy with school and etc so i have been updating my blog kind of slow i will have a new post everyday. I also got to test out the 85 1.4 and i love the bokeh in it might end up buying after i get a new body first. I plan on getting a d7000 or a d700 soon most likely a d7000. When nikon comes out with a new FX (full frame) camera the d700 will go down and i will save money so i have just been playing the waiting game.

When i got off the airplane i went down with daniel that i meet on the plane it funny how they seat the only two black people in first class next to each other but im glad they did he is a cool guy after he got his bag we went to bart. The bart train came and for 11 pm it was packed a lot of people got of the plane that night. When we got between coma & daly city the train slowed down and the conductor turned off the train he told us that someone jumped in front of the train. The way he said it was like he was crying you know it was bad at first i was mad. I just got off the plane from a 5 hour flight and someone decided to kill there self but then i thought about it and i felt bad for them. After waiting a hour another bart train came we had to jump out the train to a little platform in the tunnel then go down a little ladder then passed the 3rd rail. For anyone that does not know the 3rd rail can kill you. Then we went up the ladder to the bart train after everyone got on we went to daly city to get on another bart train before we could do that police came on bart to take down everyones info and phone numbers.This part took forever after we got on i finally made it home after a 2-3 hour delay.

These photos are from one of the lasted days in new york went to the brooklyn bridge and seen history made for the first day of the protest that has since that day gone around the USA. When we got off the subway i know some then was not right there was way to many police. So then i start walking up to the bridge and see groups of people walking down. The lane to brooklyn were stop by protester and the police made all the cars back up to the streets. Then i keep walking up to the first tower and protester where seating down not letting anyone pass so dominique tour didn’t go the way that she would like but im glad it didn’t because this was way better and i was lazy ahaha. After that i went down to the 911 memorial aka ground zero i have not been to the world trade center since august of 2001 it was about 2 weeks before 911. I am so glad i got to see the world trade center and go to the top. I was hopping to go to the waterfall but you have to have a ticket and i didn’t know so i was kind of pissed about that but know i now.

After that went to soho to go the supreme store and they didn’t have shit. It start raining but then stop so we went to FCNY (flight club)

These photos are from soho and noho no not d-lo but this would be the place to go if your in to streetwear places like supreme , flight club , black scale and other boutique store. Went down here to see my good friend Alfred cant believe i have know him for almost 9 years time go by fast it crazy. I all so meet some of the black scale crew. Meet the homie brian that was doing a shoot Alfred ask me to do some behind the scenes shoots. Then after that we where looking for some then to eat on but was not trying to get lost even tho it was only life right left so we decided to go to the restaurant on the conner called pulino’s bar and grill . This restaurant was a nice looking place but don’t go here if your trying to save money soda cost 3 + there are no refill they give you water with no ice the food was pretty good but it remind me of some over price stouffers i should of went with soul food but it was not close and i was lazy ahah. After that went to times square. Times square turn in to people running to building because there was a flash flood almost it was raining bullets with in 2 mins. Enjoy the photos

Ok this is part two dominique trying to be a tour guide keyword try ahaha anyways . Went downtown to the empire state building even tho i been here before i decided to go back to take photos. Online they say it cost $22 to go to the top but if you pay that you have to wait 2 hours + in a line so we decided to pay $50 for a sky-ride and got to the top in 30 mins. The sky-ride sucked! it like a bootleg version of California adventure. California adventure is dope but this ride say 4D but it look like some shitty 3D only get the ticket if you don’t have time to wait in long lines. These photos were taken with a 10.5mm fisheye and 24-70mm. Enjoy

These are photos from last week when i was in New York. I did not have wifi only on the airplane for 30 mins on a 5 hour + flight after that you have to pay $14 that how they get you. I was the only black person on in first class they always think your a rapper or some then just because im in some over price seats. The brunch menu was ok for a plane ride. When i got to queens i finally made my way to grand central station. This is the first post of 4 more about nyc.
