CRISSY FIELD/palace of fine arts

Michael gave me a call to go out and shoot with him. I’ve known him for a couple of years met him in my photography class in Berkeley city he does kite photography and is great. So he picked me up and we went out to San Francisco to take some photo. Went to a Store then headed to CRISSY FIELD. This was the first time witnessing kite Photography. Was pretty cool see a camera on a line and start Moving and taking photos. He quickly start running with the kite since it was sunset to get a good shot so I went and did my own thing on the beach. There were signs saying do not trespass will usually I still trespass. Anyways it was my first time using a ND (NEUTRAL DENSITY) FILTER I think my photos came out pretty good for the first time trying to slow the shutters speed down. Hoping to take more landscape slow shutter speed photos soon.

LOS ANGELES DAY 2

I forgot to post these photos because I have been going through a lot of stuff and my life anyways here are some photos from Los Angeles and the Griffin Observatory plus family photos.

Los Angeles DAY 1

Ended up taking a flight out to Southern California to visit family and hang out. The next day I went out with Joe and nae to do some sightseeing and shopping. First stop was La Brea to hopefully find something at Buffalo exchange which I did not and go to undefeated After that we headed to Fairfax and shopped around. They decided they wanted to do some sightseeing so we did and went to the TCL Chinese theater and wondered around Hollywood Boulevard. After that Beside it to get some pinks hotdogs but the line was extremely long and not getting any. So I chose to try the Apple Pan which was on the food network. This restaurant has been in business for a very long time but I was not impressed by it and probably will not go back it reminded me of a quarter pounder restaurant. After that we headed to Santa Monica pier and it was a nice day out with lots of people which it always is.

FOOD AND MORE

I’ve had a urge to get a counter burger for a minute so I decided to take a trip to Walnut Creek and have one. I have to say they make one of the best burgers I have ever had. If you don’t know about the counter burger it’s a burger specialty restaurant that you get two choose what’s on your burger so you get to build a burger the way you would like. When I got back home I got my ND filter for my camera and decided to take some photos of this sky and get a five second exposure. It wasn’t that expensive and the quality of the filter wasn’t as good as I would have liked but it does get the job done. After taking some photos I decided to go out and satisfy my sweet tooth at fenton’s

Working on increasing my vertical leap and is satisfied to say I have reached one of my goals to get a 40 inch vertical leap. Next step is to get a 45. I was on Instagram a couple weeks ago one of my friends posted a photo of some red velvet waffles and I immediately wanted to make them but I wanted to out do what the restaurant did. So I thought of some ideas and came up with red velvet waffles with Vanilla glaze, Walnuts and how powder sugar. I also marinated my chicken for a day and then fried it and tossed it in some seasoning I came up with along with a side of eggs.

BRUNCH + REST OF THE WEEK

Went to this cool restaurant that I found online. In North Berkeley and had brunch. I think this restaurant is pretty good and wouldn’t mind coming back sooner or later I especially like the big slice bacon. After that walked around the neighborhood for a little while and took a couple photos. Later that week I made tacos with Mary. Also went out to my aunties house to have dinner with some of my family.

SCHOOL FIELD TRIP

Went to pick up Nick and we went to San Francisco on BART to meet up with our class. But ended up Doing our own thing and taking some night shots. After we where done from the Embarcadero we headed back to BART then almost forgot that we plan on taking some photos of City Hall while the Golden State Warriors colors were still up. I don’t like the Civic Center BART station since it always smells like piss lol Anyways I thought that I got some pretty good shots tonight!

If you keep up with my blog you know on a Avid cooker and I have been making all types of food for a long time but have never taken photos of them a lot but I’m trying to get into doing that more often so I made breakfast.

First I made a candied bacon season house potatos and some specialty eggs after that I made buttermilk pancakes with strawberries and bananas. I also made mimosa with strawberries.

LOS ANGELES

Went to LA to help my sister out for a annual Inglewood fleamarket. Woke up at around six and was at the flea market the whole day it was really hot and I was slightly irritated but glad to help my sister out.

The next day she made breakfast for me and it was really good the egg she may remind me of my father used to make which I still try to create this day and have no success I wish he would’ve told me the recipe. Later that day the homie Jonathan Came and picked me up and we went to RIF LA which is a consignment sneaker store in Japan town. Was looking for undefeated Safari T-shirt from some years back probably six years ago which they didn’t have hopefully one day they have it but anyways the spot was cool and I will come back sooner or later.

The next day I woke up and my sister made a smoothie for me then I left back to the bay I had class the same day so I have been going nonstop barely any rest. Got back home slept for a couple hours then headed out for a night shoot field trip.

LEGION OF HONOR

Another late entry so I took a trip to San Francisco for a school field trip we got to go to the Legion of honor. I ended up getting their a hour early so I looked on YELP and ended up finding a great little restaurant in the avenues that I would never think would be there but didn’t snap photos. After eating I met with my class and we went downstairs to(Achenbach section of the Legion of honor). This is the section where they hold a lot of their artwork books and where they make their prints. Learned some interesting information which help me do my final I’m glad I did not skip this field trip even though it was required to go. I wouldn’t mind coming back here and being able to look at the exhibit since I did not get to this time. After that we went to the cliffhouse to have lunch I always liked coming here when I was younger. After we where done i took some photos of sutro baths.

Mary birthday

This is a late entry I have been slacking on updating my blog on a daily basis but since finals are over I’m going to try to keep my blog constantly updated. Woke up got ready and went to Wynvalley with Mary Nai and Teresa. Our first off was this winery to get lunch. I ordered a chicken breast sandwich with potato chip. The food was pretty good they serve a variety of barbecue and other grilled foods. After that we headed down to Don Chandon. I’m not really into champagne or wine but this place was very nice. After we got back to the bay we had dessert at Fentons with Moung and Dexter. And ordered the saddle back.

IKEA HOPEN / SONIC

Decided to get a dresser for my room I’ve been looking at this IKEA dresser for a while and for a moment was trying to get a used one off craigslist because they are usually half the price but I ended up just going to IKEA and buying a new one. The other reason why I wanted to buy one off craigslist is because I would not have to build it and I know this was going to take some time. So I spent about three hours working on this dresser and finally I was done.

I don’t even remember how I ended up going to sonics but I don’t really like sonics it’s kind of nasty in my opinion but anyways I do think their desserts are okay besides that I probably won’t be coming back here.

So I guess I’ll start posting every other week I cook. This week I made bacon wrapped hot dog. I used a Showboat hot link Smoked bacon and I sautéed onions And put it on a Hawaiian hot dog buns. Also had seasoned french fries.

So I was working on a deep cleaning for some Nike free runs. Also having a NEW pick up of the cole haan lunerground wingtips. I have my eye on them for a while and just so happened I checked and they were on sale for a couple of days so I pick them up I love that they have the same midsole as my favorite basketball shoes currently.
